Catholic Corner

The Sacrament of First Reconciliation will take place for our Year Three students (and some Year 4 students) next week over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. This model is different to the one we have used in the past, with parents taking their children to their First Reconciliation, and no formal church service on the night.

OLC Feast Day & Mission Markets

Having missed our school Feast Day earlier in the term due to Covid-19 restrictions, we would like to hold a whole school mass honouring Mary our Mother and our annual Mission Markets Fundraiser and Games Day on the final day of the term (Thursday the 24th September).

In exciting news, we have several students being Baptised into the Catholic faith next week. Elsie Marsland and Sofia Columbo-Smart in Year 3MC will both be Baptised at Our Lady of the Southern Cross church on Monday. Welcome to God’s family!
